Kokuru & Other Mysteries

Ok, so I have this dream where I'm like a Ship's captain (sailing ship, like in the 1800s) and also some sort of political leader. Things were shifting quickly, it was hard to keep track of what was going on, eh? James Kirk was my 1st Officer and my real-life friend Tim was my bodyguard.
We were in port in some oriental place, loaded with $$ cargo and passengers, ready to head for home. Then there was a mutiny, foiled of course, but also 3 young lady passengers turned out to be assassins! They poison-darted me & my guard (Real-life friend Tim) and were prepared to kill us. We were paralyzed but able to see & hear. Their leader, a lovely girl named Kokuru, scratched a nasty saying on my chest (in big chinese-like letters) that meant "(derogative name) is a poo-poo leader". Very insulting!
However, dispite getting double dosage of poison, my friend and I were able to move after a few minutes and fight back, so the three ran off. We gave chase, into the town & warned people as we went about them. The proof was on my chest, and I had to stop several times to get oriental people to translate it for the white folks. They were embarassed to read it! lol!
Soon all 3 were caught; 1 was killed, 1 was locked up & my friend and I met up with the men who caught Koruku. She kept talking & trying to escape, so I bashed her head on the table & knocked her out. I was in a grumpy mood! We were discussing the situation further, & what to do with her, when we noticed she'd escaped (oops!) So off we went after her.
We went to see the Boarding School For Girls to which the 3 assassin-girls belonged, and explained to the couple who ran it about the assassination attempt. I was trying to see if in fact they were the leaders of an assassin cell, but they weren't. While we were there, a girl reported that Kokuru had returned for her belongings! I went up to her room on the second floor alone, dodged the throwing circle-thing she greeted me with and pinned her against a table. I then let her go! And confessed to love at first sight (you knew that was comming didn't you!) She was the prettiest, coolest & most dangerous woman I'd ever met! pant pant! I knelt befor her and asked her to either kill me or be my bride! I was expecting death. But of course she loved me too! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and when I asked how would I ever be certain she really loved me & wasn't just waiting to kill me, she said that we'd have lots of children together & that would be proof [img]smile.gif[/img] Hooray!
I'm figuring we lived happily ever efter, her with a lump on her head and me with an obscene tattoo on my chest! Lmao! And lots of little Japanese-Canadian kiddies! Woo-hoo!

So what's the mystery you ask?
Well, I woke up and figured I'd check & see if Kokuru was even remotely Japanese, let alone a girl's name.
So I Googled it, and found some interesting things!
Kokuru was one of the cities in Japan that the atomic bomb was targeted for! Nagasaki was the 3rd choice for the 2nd bomb, apparently. So the origional target (Kure I think) and Kokuru were saved by clouds.
Also, kokuru is a real Japanese word, and slang word too. All you anime fans should love this link:

The 2nd last paragraph has kokuru, which means to "confess your love". Ooooo! Spooky eh? It's also slang for "to do something" or like that.
No, my Kokuru didn't look like Chaos Butterfly's new figurine [img]redface.gif[/img] but she was awful cute!! Now if only I could meet her in real-life! Oh, and be a ships Captain, and be rich & strong too...

I gotta admit, you people are interesting. I've NEVER had adventursome dreams like that.

I dreamed once that the love of my life, Renee Zellweger, and I broke up and she left me a silk scarf or something to remember her by.

No no, don't use silk for that. It can get too tight if there's movement and cut off circulation to the hands.

I haven't seen Kill Bill yet, but I watched enough trailers to know the general idea.
Last night I was being chased by zombies in a big school. I kept locking doors behind me to try to slow them down. I haven't been to Land of the Dead yet, but I hope to drag the GF there tonight!
Yup, Mr Freud could write a book about my sub-conscious life, lol!
Just pop some melatonin for extra-dreaming power! Woo hoo!
